The Murph Workout is a challenging and meaningful workout that is completed annually on or around Memorial Day to honor Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who sacrificed his life in Afghanistan in 2005. This workout—consisting of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another 1-mile run is usually done in a 20/14 lb weight vest. It is performed by gyms and individuals across the country as a tribute to Lt. Murphy and all fallen service members. At Trinity Fitness Colorado Springs, we take on the Murph to remember their courage, commitment, and ultimate sacrifice for our country.
